Blend is an exquisite hybrid blend, featuring elements of soft aromatic tobaccos blended with the finest Latakia flakes. Â This tobacco is semi-sweet, spirited, and rich in flavor.
A tribute to the Oriental-forward blends of yesteryear, Cornell & Diehl’s latest Small Batch release, Palmetto Balkan, delivers a uniquely Carolina-inspired interpretation of the celebrated Balkan mixtures that have captivated pipe smokers over the years.

Meet Parson’s Blend… developed for the parson himself! Â One of our dear customers, who happens to be an Anglican priest, asked for a blend that his wife would let him smoke indoors and that also would not lead to tongue bite. Â Parson’s Blend is our effort to deliver these characteristics in a mild, aromatic blend that leaves your mouth feeling soft and smooth and fills the room with a delicious, warm note.
Customers often say that Parson’s Blend’s smoke is “thick”; our experience is that it leaves you in the midst of a very pleasant cloud. Â Delicate and crowd-pleasing!
A spicy, Danish cake-mixture from Virginia and Kentucky, that’ll also appeal to Latakia-smokers.
Aged cakes of red Virginia and fire-cured dark Kentucky tobaccos give this full- bodied, flavorful flake an unusually rich and naturally spicy taste. Not for neophytes, this one satisfies with old-fashioned deep taste. Good outdoors.
A delicious, gentle blend with a high percentage of full-bodied Black Cavendish, naturally sweet Virginia and a pinch of nutty Burley, crowned by a brilliant, creamy Bourbon vanilla flavour.
3.5 oz. tin
This well-balanced, medium-strong mixture in typical English tradition consists of a good portion of spicy-smoky Latakia, sweetish Virginia, full-bodied Black Cavendish and strong Kentucky and gives a rich smoking pleasure for connoisseurs.

Rare Virginias are spun into “twist” then sliced to the size of small coins. Each disk is a complete blend. Costly to produce, this spun cut can be smoked for its slow burning classic Virginia flavor or mixed into a favorite blend for a change of pace.

A traditional English/Balkan mixture of Oriental and Virginia ribbon with a strong dose of Cyprian Latakia, and spiced up with a bit of Louisiana Perique, Peterson’s Balkan Mixture, formerly Balkan Delight, is blended to please the experienced smoker.
This Aromatic is a selection of matured Virginia tobaccos from Brazil and Africa blended with a loose, mellow Black Cavendish. Peterson’s De Luxe Mixture has a tasteful flavor consisting of vanilla, walnut, and honey.
Peterson here offers De Luxe Navy Rolls — a coin-cut Virginia/Perique blend that combines hand-stripped Brazilian and African Virginias with Perique from Louisiana for a pleasant, medium-bodied smoke.
The Peterson Flake, formally known as the Dunhill Flake, is one of, if not the most recognizable flake tobacco in production. Made from a straight pressed Virginia leaf combination (made of lemon and bronze Virginia), the amount of flavor present in one small bowl is legendary. While we suggest smoking this tobacco as soon as you receive it, we also suggest ordering a few extra tins and putting them in the cellar. This medium strength sweet Virginia is going to age exceptionally well.
Hyde Park is a traditional English blend of bright and dark fired Virginias, sun cured Indian and burleys tobaccos. This luxurious smoking experience is achieved by the addition of rum and maple sugars to pressed mahogany tobacco

When Dunhill announced it would no longer be producing tobacco, pipe smokers rued the loss of some of their favorite mixtures. Thanks to Peterson, however, those beloved blends are still available. They’re the same recipes and feature the same tin art as Dunhill’s, just re-branded for Peterson.
My Mixture 965 is for the connoisseurs of full-bodied English blends. Choice Latakia tobaccos impart a rich, smoky flavor and coolness, while Orientals are added for sweetness. It’s one of Dunhill’s most popular English mixtures, now offered here from Peterson.

Truly a luxurious tobacco. Virginias are carefully conditioned to ensure sweetness. They are added to rich, heavier and cooler Virginias. A unique flavor is added to the final blend to enhance the subtle and piquant aroma.
What you’ll find in Sherlock Holmes pipe tobacco is a straightforward blend of select flue-cured Virginias from around the world along with some rich Burley from Brazil. The Peterson blend is finished with a subtle citrus note that is only faintly noticeable in the flavor. A higher-end Virginia blend that’s not too overpowering, Sherlock Holmes is the perfect everyday tobacco to keep in your rotation.
A balanced blend of Virginia, latakia and Turkish tobaccos, fine rich flavour.
This excellent mixture is a blend of first choice Virginia, Burley, and Black Cavendish. Peterson’s Sunset Breeze is a promise for a unique smoking experience, which is crowned by a wonderful Amaretto aroma that also gives enjoyment to the smokers’ surroundings.
Sweet Oriental carefully blended with bright and red Virginias, pressed and lightly stoved. Great as the “first pipe” arousing the palate for the further pleasures of the day.

The Latakia forward English mixture offers plenty of smoky flavor from the fired-cured leaf, which is artfully harmonized with floral, earthy stoved Rustica. A mixture of high-grade Virginias imparts a natural sweetness. Katerini, the sole oriental component, offers herb and spice notes bringing complexity and nuance to the favor profile.
A light, Oriental-focused English mixture accentuated with two novel, stoved tobaccos -Rustica and Katerini. The Orientals are musky and herbal, bringing much of the flavor alongside Red Virginia tang and wood as well as spice from the Stoved Katerini. The Stoved Rustica offers a stout body and peppery sensation, harmonizing with a light Latakia smokiness. Stoved -or Cavendish-tobaccos are often thought of as the vehicle for top flavoring. Though this is certainly a fine attribute, the wonderful characteristics imparted from the stoving process can easily be overlooked. Pipe Force illustrates just that with the stoving of two varietals for the first time, Rustica and Katerini.
Pipe Force, a series that celebrates pipe smoking by showing innovation isn’t a thing of the past, there are still frontiers to explore.
Hot-pressed and ready rubbed Rustica is stoved, resulting in a smoothing of the bold leaf, but its familiar BBQ tang and floral spice are preserved, dynamically complementing the caramelized sweetness of the Stoved Virginia. The Oriental Katerini takes to the Cavendish process beautifully, offering herbal, woody undertones. The result is an exotic mélange with a vitality that reimagines what a stoved mixture can be.

A woody, tangy mixture of select Virginia leaf is elevated with Stoved Katerini, adding dark berry and spice. Dark-Fired Kentucky and St. James Perique enrich the base with earthy notes, pepper, and a light smokiness. Episode VI is a savory, vinous evolution from the natural sweetness and dark flavor of the Virginia/Perique genre. Richness with nuance all the way down.

This fine tobacco originally had no name. It was blended before the first World War especially for the Very Rev. Dr. John White, sometime minister of the Barony Kirk in Glasgow and Moderator of the General Assembly in Scotland in 1929. He introduced it to Stanley Baldwin, later Earl Baldwin, Prime Minister in 1923, 1924 and 1935. He liked it so much that regular supplies were sent down to him and it was he who suggested that it be called “Presbyterian Mixture”. As there continues to be controversy over the question of whether Presbyterian Mixture contains latakia, the following quote from page six of the blender’s 2008 catalogue should leave the matter settled: “Extraordinarily soft blend of finest US Virginia grades and a number of selected latakia leaf tips. Ideal mixture also for beginners with English tobaccos.” Originally blended for mass market by William P. Solomon, whose recipe it still follows.
Matured Bright Virginia flakes deliver a bouquet of natural flavors-Â bread and hay with a light citrus undertone and a mild, amiable spice. This toasty, subtly sweet smoke charmingly showcases what the bright, flue-cured leaf is all about, delivered through an easy, cool burn.
The basis of this mixture are different Virginia tobaccos and Latakia combined with a Black Cavendish and some Oriental.

A fragrant pipe tobacco blend of Black Cavendish and four ready rubbed Golden Virginia tobaccos including ribbon cut, plug, curly, and flake, lightly top dressed with cognac for an elegant smoke.
Rattray’s Exotic Passion is fittingly named, the aroma from the mix of Virginias and black cavendish calling to mind black teas flavored with an orange zest.
A combination of different Virginia tobaccos with Black Cavendish and some Latakia.
Red Lion is a unique traditional English mixture. The typical smoky taste comes from the fantastic Latakia, combined with selected Golden Virginia, aromatic Black Cavendish and sweet Oriental. A pipe tobacco to remember!

Sir William is a ready-rubbed loose cut. Various selected Virginias are the main components in this blend and are responsible for the rounded taste. Fired Kentucky, cured Indian and aromatic Thai Burley are then added and finally crowned by a light whisky aroma. In a nutshell, it’s a record breaker!
