Starting in 1968, Roberto Ascorti and Luigi Radice split from Castello. The name came from a laughter-filled evening associating the pipes with a fireplace or chimney, which is “camino” in Italian. This 50th Anniversary Bent Billiard/Cutty is a fine example of the craftsmanship taken over by Tommi Ascorti (Roberto’s Son). It features a 9K gold band on the shank and is a cross between a bent billiard and a cutty shape lacking the forward bowl cant of a traditional cutty.
