Jeremy M Sedita of Seamonster Workshop, based in Portland, Oregon,  has been making pipes part-time for just over 10 years.  He learned the craft as a member of Pipe Maker’s Forum, and from interacting with the pipe-making community, both in person and online.  A graduate of the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, majoring in painting and printmaking, making things has always been a part of his nature.  His art background can be seen in his skills for shaping both classical and more modern shapes, and his unique and subtle (sometimes) color palette. Parts of the process are a collaboration with his two daughters, ages 14 and 9, particularly the making of the paper micarta accents and the signature pipe bags.
