In the grand tapestry of life, the word “picayune” echoes the notion of little value, akin to a small, insignificant coin. Yet, in the brackish reeds of what would become South Mississippi, Spanish explorers discovered a region that would produce a bounty of richness for a new, emerging nation.  With the unassuming name of Picayune, this region is safeguarded from the unbridled abandonment of the modern world and continues to cradle the imaginative makings of America.  Join us in partaking in the bounty of this terrain with a sugared, fluffy breakfast delight, and let us reflect on what has been and what is to come.

This is the former “Second Breakfast” blend and one of the mildest, most agreeable aromatics I’ve tried. Perfect for a new smoker. Light and pleasant.

  2. Brian (verified owner)

    Very unique aromatic.
Has many unique and familiar qualities.
Satisfies a sweet tooth and leaves you inspecting other notes that come and go. Lovely toasted sugar notes while leaving room for smooth tobacco flavors. Great paring with your second meal of the day

  3. Joe F.

I smoked this in a meerschaum medium billiard. Creamy, buttery with balanced flavors of maple, brown sugar and vanilla. One of the best aromatics I’ve ever smoked. You’ll find yourself reaching for this again and again.

  4. Bret V.

The “second breakfast” everyone deserves. Pairs well with morning coffee after a hearty meal to start the day. Found myself gravitating towards this blend all day because of the mild and pleasant room notes. The taste is absolutely sublime, perfect for relaxation and focus.

  5. Timothy Huggins (verified owner)

Lightly sweet, cool burning aromatic with a lovely room note.

Perfect moisture level right out of the bag with no relights needed.
Burns to a fine white ash with no dottle, no gurgle, and no bite.

This is a gentle aromatic and not a goopy, cloying mess.
Hints of honey, vanilla, and a mild grassy sweetness take turns in the foreground while a delicately sweetened buttery poundcake note remains throughout.

    Pairs perfectly with coffee.
Light enough to be an all day smoke, but sweet enough for breakfast or dessert treat.

I highly recommend this one for veterans and beginners alike.
    Well done, Country Squire!!
