The Country Squire’s cigar bar and cocktail lounge sits inside Mississippi’s oldest tobacconist, at 1925 Lakeland Drive in Jackson. Pick a cigar from the walk-in humidor, order something from the bar, and settle into the lounge — indoors by the shelves, or out on the patio.
Whether you’re hunting a quiet cigar lounge for a weeknight, a cocktail bar worth lingering in, or a place to celebrate with a group, the bar is open Tuesday through Sunday. You enter as a stranger and leave as a friend — that part has been true since 1970.
A cigar lounge, the Squire way
This isn’t a bar with a cigar case bolted on. The shop came first — over half a century of hand-blended pipe tobacco and hand-picked cigars — and the lounge grew up around it. That means your bartender can walk you to the humidor, your cigar was stored the way it should be, and nobody minds if you sit a while. There’s parking for about seventy cars, so bring the group.
