On the palate you’ll encounter rich notes of dark chocolate and espresso, intertwined with leather and black pepper—and depending on the specific Surrogates vitola you may also pick up cedar, nutmeg, and a sweet-spice finish. The texture is creamy and dense, the body medium-to-full, and the finish lingers with a balanced combination of earth, subtle sweetness and lingering pepper.
