The Tatuaje Havana VI Verocu Blue cigar features a shade-grown Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 wrapper over an all-Nicaraguan binder and filler, so you’re getting a straightforward, no-frills puro. On lighting you’ll pick up toasty bread/yeast rolls, subtle nuts and cream, and a mild pepper tickle in the background — not the full-blast pepper you might expect. As you move into the second and final thirds it develops into dry wood, earth and root-like oak, with a bit more pepper and a touch of bitter mineral-back finish sneaking in. Overall it sits in the medium-bodied zone (with maybe medium-plus leaning if it’s matured), making it a decent choice when you want something with character, but not an all-out heavyweight.

What it smokes like
What the reviews actually say about it:
“The aroma from the foot is light and contains a bit of creaminess, saturated cornflakes, cashews and a bit of underlying sweetness that reminds me just a bit of marshmallows.” “The cold draw is smooth and easy, while the flavor is more subdued than the aroma, offering a soft bread flavor and texture, a bit of creaminess and essentially no pepper.” — halfwheel, who scored it 87.
That is what the reviewers found. What you find is the interesting part.
