Being verbally challenged to describe this blend, I must say that it begins with notes of “warm shoe leather”, which is friendly to me, then matures into “steak on the grill” notes. Overall delicious stuff and easy on the tongue!!

Twenty years ago I made my first visit to the Squire as a novice in the world of piping. Coach Dan, my smoking mentor, told me about the shop, and insisted that I try this stuff called latakia, unknown to me with my one basket pipe and a puny collection of gas-station fare. When I inquired about Latakia at the shop, they recommended PS Blend. It was my introduction to a different world than the one I’d known before.
Creamy and smooth, only slightly sweet, and just smoky enough, PS Blend is the absolutely perfect hybrid blend. It is the perfect balance, bar none. If I had to choose a ‘desert island’ smoke, it would be this one.
I’m a broad-spectrum piper, from cavendish-heavy aromatics to straight virginias. PS Blend will scratch nearly every piping itch, every time.

A great blend. A little sweet, a little smokey, and just a tad of fruit finish, This reminds me a lot of Epiphany, Eienstien’s favorite blend, now discontinued, Silky-smooth, creamy, and delicious. I would call this a medium strength, and a great all-day smoke.

Wonderful blend! Billows of silky smooth smoke with hints of sweetness and tart latakia. If your pallet leans towards English blends and very lightly cased english/aromatic blends, this is one of the best. Good to the last drop. A Squire blend since the early 1970’s and still a favorite? Definitely! Bravo, gentlemen!

    what is this genius madness???

Soft and sweet, but with just enough smoky flavor. This tobacco brings memories of the scent of a late fall campfire. Warm vanilla, roasted chestnut, and white oak firewood. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Burns perfect, with only one or two relights per bowl.

Just didn’t enjoy this one as much as others. Can’t really put my finger on it, but wanted to test it out. I’m not an English smoker, strictly aromatic but wanting to test out the others just to see what is in the world of possible. But it did burn well and down to fine ash at the bottom of the bowl, which is what I have found on all of Country Squire’s blends, which beat all the others out there that leave a glob of dottle at the bottom of the bowl.

Does not disappoint. Perfect blend of English flavour and aromatic room note, this is an easy every day blend. Send me more!!!
