Creamy Pint

inaugural Release • Micro-Batch 2026

Inspired by the warmth of a well-frequented pub and the rich character of a proper Irish dark stout, Creamy Pint makes its debut as a traditional non-aromatic mixture crafted for those who enjoy depth, body, and quiet richness in the bowl. This first-year release is built from three different types of Burley, Red Virginias, and a dash of unflavored Black Cavendish, resulting in a smooth, satisfying smoke with malty darkness and gentle natural sweetness.

Designed to evoke the flavor of an Irish dark stout and the atmosphere of a familiar public house, Creamy Pint offers a comforting, pub-like character — hearty, bready, toasted, and creamy, with a softly lingering semi-sweet finish that settles in beautifully over the course of the bowl.

Flavor Profile

Bag Note: Cocoa and fresh bread.
Room Note: Toasted grain and oven-warm bread.
Tasting Notes: Medium-bodied — dry-malty, dark chocolate, creamy undertones, and semi-sweet throughout the smoke.

The naming is spot on, as my first impression is one of an oatmeal stout. Bready and nutty, with a smoke reminiscence of the creamy head atop a pint. It is a dry smoke with medium spice and a fair hit of nicotine, not unlike a medium-bodied cigar. Definitely a bold and unique blend that would serve well as a change of pace to traditional styles.

Creamy and bready as described. A very good non-aromatic blend!

Another fantastic release from The Country Squire. This blend starts out with a deep rich malty flavor. Then as you progress through the bowl the dark chocolate really starts to come through. The Virginia provides just enough sweetness that’s not overwhelming. I highly recommend this blend.

This tobacco starts off spicy but quickly mellows to a dry, rich smoke throughout the rest of the bowl. It reminds me of hearty black coffee chased with a shot of dark chocolate milk. This would be an excellent smoke in the morning or just after dinner, and I would happily buy another bag and smoke again.

Malty, creamy, smooth with a bit of spice. On the retrohale I get the bitter but slightly sweet taste you would from the head of darker beer, or the sweet/bitter flavor from a semi-sweet chocolate chip. I don’t get any chocolate notes but I rarely do from tobacco. This reminds me of Pegasus but a creamier, smoother like a well aged Pegasus. Would buy this regularly.

Very good. We’ve got a cocoa-y yeast cake thing going on with the bag note. At the start, the burley comes in and I’m thinking, “ Is this a cigar?” It mellows out into a bittersweet maltiness ( yes much like a stout!). The burley gives you this little spice and lovely thickness of smoke. The nicotine hits me hard and I’m thinking, “okay it’s a party now”. A delicate cacao nib flavor sets over my tongue throughout. I wish the weather was colder (90 degree freak California heat wave in late winter) and I’d be in seventh heaven! With the bag notes, flavor and feel, it lives up to its name. Well done, Squire!

Absolutely perfect. Probably the best blend I’ve had the pleasure of trying. Wish this was available all year!

After having spent some time reuniting with very old friends in our favorite pub today I decided that it was a perfect night to relax outside and try this new blend. I was greeted by pleasant smooth spice and toasted bread notes setting the mood and with a nice nicotine nudge, helping me to remember great times with great friends. Very well behaved in the bowl with a nice dry creamy smoke, I enjoyed notes of chocolate introducing themselves as though we were meeting in a cheerful favorite bar. These conversations lasted through the entire bowl, and for me if the intent was to create an atmosphere of spending time with great folks in a special place full of nostalgia then it is a success. I will take my time and enjoy this batch and look forward (hopefully) to seeing it again next year. Well done.

Came back to order more and, well, gotta wait a year.

Received on St. Patrick’s Day (St. Patrick, pray for us!). First bowl had me underwhelmed for some reason. Came back to it later that week and couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t initially blown away. It’s really like smoking a chocolate stout!

Knocked one star off, because this did not remind me of a stout beer. It is rich, mellow, and enjoyable with a little bit of nicotine.

I did taste some nuttiness, but overall I was expecting a little more sweetness to round out the blend a little more.

I will say it did take 3 tries to wrap my head around this blend before i understood it better. It caught me off guard, but not in a bad way. I had to go back to the description and read it a few more times to understand what I was tasting. Now that I’ve figured it out- I have been reaching for it more often, so that’s a good sign.

In summation- this is an excellent blend, but calling it a creamy pint (to me) was a bit of a stretch.
