I added this to my last order just on a whim. I thought I would use it as an emergency supply if I ever got short on the good stuff. Boy, was I ever wrong! This is an outstanding aromatic with more different flavors than I can describe. It’s almost like every puff is a different blend. A little sweet, a little fruity, with some overtones of cocoa, nuts, and delicious black Cavendish. The Virginia and burley comes through as well, You can taste each individual tobacco and flavoring, but in different combinations with each puff. It is like a tobacco parfait. Mild to medium, and no tongue bite at all. I will be keeping a large jar of this on my shelf from now on.

For the price, this is a no-brainer “gotta try it” kind of a thing. I figured, at worst, I’d be wasting 2 bucks.
I know it’s not, but the ounce I ordered tastes like it was blended together on purpose – it’s so nuanced, layered and deeply delicious.
This has inspired me to start my own “whatever jar” – it started out with a little over 20 grams of my ounce of “whatever” and has involved into it’s own unique thing.
Whenever I mix blends together to pack a bowl, which is pretty often, whatever little bits that are left over go in the “whatever’ jar – and somehow, it only continues to get better.
I’m treating it a bit like a whiskey “solera” or “infinity” bottle – and the results are astounding thus far.
I don’t know if I’d recommend this strategy to anyone else, but it’s sure as hell working for me.

I have had 3 bowls of ‘whatever’ blend and it is very enjoyable and fun! It like playing a smoking game of guess the blended tobacco. Very tasty! So far a good guess is lots of burley and virginia. Its worth trying!

The Whatever Jar. WOW it’s fantastic. I think i would describe it as an English aromatic. I get flavors of Virginias, Latakia, Perique and sweet Cavendish in every bowl, but in different combinations each time. It’s as if the different tobacco’s take turns being the star of the show. I will keep this on hand.

I originally brought some Whatever to see what it was like and to my suprise I am hooked. For the most part I found it generally mellow with varying slighly different flavours that would be a little different with each smoke, plus it hasnt as yet left a bite in the mouth. I have been smoking a pipe for 50 years now (i’m 71) and after trying some of the other Country Squire’s blends I would have to say they have some the best pipe tobacco blends around. So given that every other Country Squire blend that I have tried so far was nice then collectively the combined “leftovers ” would be nice too. I know that down the track some “whatevers” may not be as good as what I’ve experienced so far but I am sure they will be enjoyable if not ok to smoke.

a gloriously chaotic mix of flavors and scents that pair well with food and drink or a relaxing moment of self reflection in your home or yard. Not for the timid, as one minute you might get a slight hit of perique, and with the next draw a whiff of golden virginia or sweet cavendish with the slight bite of a smokey balkan…you just never know, and that makes for one grand smoking adventure no matter where you are. this one will definately be in my regular tobacco rotation for the occasional little bit o’ suprise of something completley different because variety is always the spice of life.

Wet in the bag and wonderfully aromatic. Smelled and smoked cool with a light and sweet flavor on the tongue. A slight tingle, might have been a strong nicotine blend this time around. Thick smoke that stuck together and even produced a few rings here and there. Wish I had ordered a few more ounces, but that’s how life goes.

An absolute smorgasbord of flavor going on right here. This is such an amazing blend you get a different experience with every bowl. This blend smells so good right from the bag I am tempted to put some of it out like potpourri. Packs nicely lights easy and smokes very easy. I have a bag sitting here on my desk and it just smells so good. I have four ounces here on my desk but my next order will include a hearty amount of this. If I was asked what would be my desert island blend it would most definitely be Whatever!?!? To those that have not tried this yet you owe it to yourself to try it. You will not be disappointed. Please don’t stop making this blend.

Ordered a while ago and finally got around to trying it. Holy smokes! What a great and enjoyable smoke nothing in is overpowering in it. I’m definitely going to order more. This is going to be my new codger blend. At one point the room note reminded me of my Grandfather’s and Great Uncle’s pipe tobacco. Great tasting and brought back great memories of the past!
